Who Should Not Take Actonel With Calcium?

You should not take Actonel With Calcium if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Actonel With Calcium, risedronate and calcium, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have low blood calcium (hypocalcemia) or high blood calcium (hypercalcemia).
     
  • Cannot sit or stand upright for 30 minutes (which is necessary in order to take Actonel With Calcium).
     
  • Have esophagus problems, such as an esophageal stricture or difficulty swallowing.
