It is not known exactly what to expect from an overdose of calcitonin salmon injection. Potential effects could include:
 
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Low calcium in the blood
  • Muscle twitches or spasms
  • Seizures
  • An irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia).
