How Should Fosamax Plus D Be Stored?

Fosamax Plus D tablets should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep Fosamax Plus D and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Fosamax Plus D?

If you forget to take a dose of Fosamax Plus D, take your dose on the first morning that you remember, and continue with your regular dosing schedule (do not change the day you normally take Fosamax Plus D). However, do not take two doses in one day.
 

Strengths of Fosamax Plus D

Fosamax Plus D tablets are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Fosamax Plus D 70 mg/2800 IU -- containing 70 mg of alendronate and 2800 IU (international units) of cholecalciferol
  • Fosamax Plus D 70 mg/5600 IU -- containing 70 mg of alendronate and 5600 IU of cholecalciferol.
     

Generic Fosamax Plus D

At this time, Fosamax Plus D is not available in generic form (see Generic Fosamax Plus D).
